DVD Vol 4: Synthesis

synthesis DVD tutorial

Synthesis is a DVD course dedicated to anyone who wants to learn how to program synthesizers, either Analogue Subtractive or Frequency Modulation. Using complex waveform analysis every individual element of a synthesizer is broken down giving the viewer a much deeper understanding not only of the parameters but also the frequencies that are generated and adjusted by the various controls that adorn a synthesizer.

The lessons then move onto examples, showing how the theory and analysis can be combined to produce numerous synthesizer patches from basses to pads to lead instruments. Finally the course discusses how all this can be used to produce timbres that you may be thinking of but find difficult to actually program and also reveals how to reverse engineer timbres.

If you've ever wanted to copy a synthesizer sound from another record, or just wanted to be able to program a synthesizer from an initialized patch, this DVD is unmissable.

Reviews:

"I bought the Synthesis DVD because I felt that area was lacking in my production. The DVD was a real eye opener!"

"First I want to say that thinking of unlocking these doors that is gaping us from really increasing our knowledge in this specific genre of music, which no one ever had the bolls to step up and offer to take the time and effort to answer dance music producer prayer and share the true principle behind all the pro artist music but Rick did.

I know some of you have a good idea already I have 2 but to watch a brilliant guy like Rich in the synthesis DVD showing and breaking things down as simple as possible .All of us knows there no easy way of programming a synthesizer, he made it easy and that took allot of work and I support them 100% all the way. I learned so much and I am craving for more They even made the DVD's in a very good price so can be savvier for musician who are just starting out so I want to congratulate them for the amazing job Rick and john , and I can't wait for the other DVDs to come out keep the good work."
