Dance Floor is our newest release, a 4-hour video course that walks through, step by step, the entire construction and production sequence of a French House track, typical of Crydamoure releases (Buffalo Bunch, Cassius), Daft Punk and Eric Prydz. Starting from a blank sequencer, the video runs through the entire production sequence. The recording software was left running throughout the entire production and was later edited down to the most important points filling four hours for the DVD.

Split into 10 sessions, the DVD covers the construction and production ethics used by today’s professional dance artists to create this style of record. These sessions include what to listen for, the inspiration, the ideas, sampling, manipulation, pitching, frequency tuning and editing, introducing vocals, building a groove, processing, effects, arrangement, pre-mixing and final mixing. In order to remain accurate and true to the production procedures, we even went to the length of clearing copyright in order to sample some popular music tracks for the creation of this DVD.

A non-mastered short demo of the track that was made during filming of this DVD is available to listen to on our forum and the track is set for DJ release on 21st July 2010. Due to the sampled content, this DVD is limited to 250 individually numbered copies.
