The third volume in DMP's acclaimed production series brings you Synthesis; a best selling 4 hour DVD that focuses on how to program synthesizer patches on a range of different instruments covering both subtractive synthesis and frequency modulation.

The DVD consists of an in depth exploration of waveforms, oscillators, envelopes, filters and modulation. Combined with the aid of waveform analysis, each parameter is broken down into detail to help the user fully understand the principles of synthesis.

Combined with some simple exercises, these basic principles are then used to reveal how to approach synthesis programming, how to program timbres from scratch and also how to reverse engineer timbres, whether they’re from another synthesizer or another record.

NOTE:
This DVD contains MIDI and audio files used for the project and is a DVD-ROM. Therefore is designed to be played on a computer. It will not play in a standard DVD player.
